It's been nearly 30 years since the tragic deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Nicole was married to O.J. Simpson from February 2, 1985 to October 15, 1992. In 1994, OJ was accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole, and her friend, Ron, after they were found stabbed to death outside her Los Angeles home on June 12. The former NFL player pleaded not guilty after a high-profile trial dubbed the 'trial of the century' that lasted eight months. OJ was acquitted by a jury and found innocent.
Last month, the news broke that O.J. Simpson had died aged 76 after a battle with cancer. Nicole's sisters, Denise Brown, Dominique Brown, and Tanya Brown spoke of his death. Tanya described it as "the end of a chapter," while Denise said she was "happy."

Nicole and OJ shared two kids together, Sydney and Justin, while Jason and Arnelle were his children from his first marriage with Marguerite Whitley. In the days leading up to his death, OJ had between 30 and 50 close friends and family members to spend time with him, according to TMZ. The four children arrived to see their father during his last days and it was alleged that all visitors, including his children, signed NDAs and were not allowed to bring phones into the room with them.

According to Tanya, her sister "lived in hell" and she did not know how OJ "inflicted so much pain onto her." Nicole confided in Denise when it came to her and OJ. Denise told Diane Sawyer on an ABC special that Nicole told her about a violent incident with OJ, which Denise now looks back and believes she said the wrong thing.
She said: "I asked her all the 'Whys' that you don't ask. ... 'Why don't you just get out of this relationship? Why don't you just leave him?'" She continued: "Those are things that you don't say, and I didn't realize that at the time."

She asked Nicole about it, which Nicole told her that it was not a black eye, it was actually makeup that a makeup artist did on her when shooting film. Denise thought it "looked so real" but believed her sister and put it back in the drawer.
Dominique later found Nicole's secret diaries and her will stacked in a box, underneath the kitchen cabinet. The box was hidden with Nicole's kids art work on top of it as if she was trying to hide it. The diaries revealed everything from the first day Nicole met OJ to things he would call her. Nicole also claimed in her diaries of incidents where OJ would put his hands on her and abuse her.
