McGregor had denied the assault claims.

Ms Murphy, of Dublin, had been in Ibiza for a party celebrating McGregor’s 34th birthday.

She claimed she was hospitalised after being assaulted by the MMA fighter.

And she also claimed to have suffered a broken arm jumping from the yacht to escape the alleged attack while the boat was anchored off Formentera last July.

But the Irish Sun understands Ms Murphy now wants the Spanish case KO’d after this week dropping her lawsuit in Ireland’s High Court against the former UFC champ.

A source told us last night: “She wants the various cases brought to an end.”

Spanish cops last month confirmed McGregor was being investigated by a court in Ibiza over the alleged attack.

McGregor had always strenuously denied the allegations.

Ms Murphy had also been pursuing a High Court application in Ireland to preserve any CCTV and phone footage relating to the incident.

But she filed papers terminating the Irish lawsuit on Monday - just a month after she had initiated the case.

Now we have learned Ms Murphy also wants the case in Spain against McGregor axed.

A source told us of the “intense strain” the cases have taken on the woman.

The source said: “In relation to the High Court case in Dublin, her legal team have submitted a motion of discontinuance and they will request for the case to be struck out.

“She has been at the centre of a storm and there has been a lot of stress.

“Her legal team are now looking at closing the case in Spain and bringing that to an end as well.”
