A LAWYER has revealed Donald Trump has nothing stopping him from running for the 2024 election, despite a guilty verdict.
Trump was found guilty on all counts in the historic hush money trial, becoming the first former president with a criminal conviction.

"If Donald Trump is found guilty, even if he's sentenced to prison, which is unlikely in the New York case, he can still be president," Rahmani said.
"There's nothing prohibiting a convicted felon from being president of the United States."
Gangsters ‘call for ceasefire’ after deadly Christmas Eve pub shooting"Theoretically, Trump could be in prison and still be president of the United States, earning the Constitution.
"The only requirements are that he be 35 and be born in the United States and not have engaged in an insurrection."
Both Republican and Democratic Parties have guaranteed spots on the general election ballots in all 50 states and the parties will tell election officials whose name to put in their spot.
The former prosecutor pointed out that winning the election would help his other legal cases.
Trump is still facing charges in two cases brought in federal courts in South Florida and Washington DC which were both pushed back to an unspecified date.
Theoretically, if the former president wins the 2024 election, everything could change for him.
"If Donald Trump wins in November, all of his criminal problems go away," Rahmani said.
"It's well established that a sitting president can't be prosecuted. If he loses, of course, those trials can continue.
"So this New York hush money case may be the only time Donald Trump ever faces criminal justice."
HUSH MONEY TRIAL
On Thursday, a 12-person jury unanimously found the former president guilty of falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to a porn star, Stormy Daniels.

Trump was convicted on all 34 felony counts brought by prosecutors.
The Apprentice star will be back in court on July 11, where Justice Juan Merchan will determine Trump’s sentence.
He is nearly certain to appeal.
After the verdict was read, the former president slammed the trial outside of the courtroom.
“This was a rigged, disgraceful trial. The real verdict is going to be November 5 by the people, and they know what happened here, and everybody knows what happened here,” Trump said.
The convicted felon went on to slam the judge and District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
“I’m a very innocent man, and it’s OK,” he said.
“I’m fighting for our country; I’m fighting for our Constitution.
“This was a rigged decision right from day one with a conflicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case. Never,” Trump continued.
“And we will fight for our Constitution. This is long from over. Thank you very much.”
'A SECOND TRUMP TERM MEANS CHAOS'
Many people have spoken out following the verdict.
His political advisary President Joe Biden released a statement following the news
"Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain," Biden's campaign said.
"But today's verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality.
"There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box.
"Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.
"The threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater.
"A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans' freedoms and fomenting political violence - and the American people will reject it this November."
However, Trump's son Don Jr. blasted the verdict, saying the United States has turned into a third-world country.
"Such bulls**t. I'm not sure that there's any way to get a fair trial in New York," he wrote on X.
"This case was rigged from the start. Remember, the same hacks in the media demanding Justice Alito recused himself because of a flag, have zero problems with the corrupt judge in this case being a donor to Joe Biden or his daughter making millions from Democrats!
"Guilty on all counts. The Democrats have succeeded in their years-long attempt to turn America into a third-world s**thole. November 5 is our last chance to save it."
He also went to underscore that his father's sentencing is happening a few days before the Republican National Convention.
"Sentencing is 4 days before the GOP Convention... They're not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE," he added.
