A WOMAN who became a 'tattoo guinea pig' has admitted she regrets her ink now and some of them leave people stunned for all the wrong reasons.

Sydney Mulvaney, 29, was a young tattoo apprentice and offered her mentor the opportunity to practice some designs on her as a way of getting in their good books.

Despite all the tattoos being free, her friends and family warned her that she would one day regret it, which only spurred her to see it through.

Some of the tragic designs range from Miley Cyrus as a zombie as well as a ‘Candy corn skull’ which she describes as her worst one.

On the tattoo regret, Sydney said: “I took advantage of my apprenticeship and got as many free tattoos as possible!”

Originally from Michigan, USA, Sydney allowed herself to become a practice ink canvas in order to impress her superiors.

When she was 18, Sydney worked as a tattoo artist, something she had always wanted to be, knowing she was in a male dominated field, and didn’t look the part, she took the plunge to get some risky tattoos.

Not knowing who to have on her body forever, she decided on Miley Cyrus as her new album had just come out and she secretly loved it.

With Sydney also loving the Walking Dead at the time she decided to go one step further and make the Miley Cyrus tattoo more of a zombie like figure.

With many friends and family members warning her of future regret, the teenage rebellion kicked in and she went ahead with it.

Accepting consolation in the fact the tattoos were free, the Michigan tattoo artist uploaded a TikTok story time talking her viewers through all of the regretful tattoos.

On her abominable tattoo story, Sydney said: “All the tattoos were free because I got them as an apprentice!

“My least favourite is definitely the candy corn tattoos!

“My mum cried after almost every tattoo I got, but the Miley Cyrus one really had upset her.

“I didn’t look like the typical tattoo apprentice back then and I desperately wanted to fit in.

“Anyone can find beauty in something, but the stories and the memories of getting these tattoos done with my mentor are the best part!”
