A video posted on social media shows an armed officer kicking a man in the head - police issued a statement and claim three officers were subject to a violent assault
Shocking footage has emerged showing an armed cop brutally kicking and stamping on a man’s head during a violent clash at Manchester Airport.
The disturbing video, which has gone viral on social media, was shared on Wednesday afternoon amidst a heated altercation in Terminal two. The police were reportedly responding to a fracas between individuals when they themselves became targets of a ’violent assault’.
In the harrowing clip, a male officer is seen pointing a Taser at a grounded man. The situation escalates quickly as the officer delivers a kick and then stamps on the man’s head, all while shocked bystanders shout in horror.

A female officer was then seen aiming her Taser at other people present, as someone yelled "move back". Desperate voices are heard begging "stop kicking people", amid a flurry of expletives, while several officers encircle the prone man.
A tense moment follows as another man is confronted by an officer who points a Taser at him. As he kneels with his hands up, the officer kicks him too, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The incident led to the arrest of four men on suspicion of affray and assaulting emergency service workers. A female officer sustained a broken nose, and other officers involved were taken to hospital.
The shocking footage, which was widely shared on social media on Wednesday afternoon, quickly racked up thousands of views. Greater Manchester Police have said they are ’acknowledging the concerns’ about conduct and that the incident is being reviewed by the Professional Standards Directorate.

A spokesperson for the force stated: "Officers were called to reports of an altercation between members of the public in Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport.
"Whilst attempting to arrest one of the suspects of the earlier altercation, three officers were subject to a violent assault, where they were punched to the ground. A female officer suffered a broken nose and all three were taken to hospital for treatment."
"As the attending officers were firearms officers, there was a clear risk during this assault of their firearms being taken from them."
"Four men were arrested at the scene for affray and assault on emergency service workers. We acknowledge the concerns of the conduct within the video, and our Professional Standards Directorate are assessing this."
