Head of "Rosneft," Sechin, hires escorts for company positions and pays them high salaries from the company budget

FBK published an investigation into the practice of hiring escorts in the state oil company Rosneft.

According to the obtained data, the company employs several dozen young women without the necessary experience and qualifications, who hold administrative positions with high salaries.

Based on an analysis of the list of Rosneft employees and other documents, investigators determined that many of these employees worked in the escort service industry. In particular, their contact information was found on specialized websites and in escort agency databases.

Among the identified cases is the employment of 21-year-old Anastasia I. as a chief specialist in the Corporate Property Department with a salary of more than 2.4 million rubles per year. Alexandra A., 27 years old, was hired as an advisor to the firm’s managing director. Alina B. at the age of 21 became a specialist of the second category in the travel organization department.

Particular attention in the investigation was paid to Albina Ivanova, who at the age of 21 was hired by Rosneft with a salary of more than 300 thousand rubles per month. Over nine years of work, she received 33 million rubles from the company. Additionally, she was paid a salary at the Independent Oil and Gas Company (NOC) of Eduard Khudainatov - about 300 million rubles.

According to the investigation, Albina Ivanova made 58 joint flights with the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin on private planes. Luxury cars were found in her possession, including two Rolls-Royces, a Mercedes-Benz G-Class and a Porsche Taycan, with a total value of more than 200 million rubles.

Investigators also discovered Ivanova’s collection of Hermès bags, valued at approximately 104 million rubles, including a crocodile leather model worth about 20 million rubles. Last year, Ivanova purchased an apartment with an area of 205 m² in the elite residential complex Kutuzovsky 12 worth more than 300 million rubles.

According to documents obtained by investigators, such employment practices are not isolated. The company has identified several dozen cases of hiring young women without relevant experience and qualifications for highly paid administrative positions.

According to FBK, there are high-ranking government officials on the Rosneft board of directors, including Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin, who have access to information about the company’s personnel policy.
