Sean ’Diddy’ Combs rushed to hospital from jail after knee pain complaint

Sean ’Diddy’ Combs was rushed to hospital by prison staff in the middle of the night after he complained of pain in his knee, insiders have revealed

Sean ’Diddy’ Combs was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night.

The music mogul - who is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Centre awaiting trial for numerous sex crimes - was reportedly rushed to Brooklyn Hospital after complaining of severe pain.

Sources have said Diddy was rushed to hospital for a check up as an "old injury was bothering him". It is believed to be his knee that was causing him pain and he returned to the Detention Centre that night after having an MRI.

An insider told DailyMail.com that Diddy received the MRI before being transported back to his cell and it was not a fight or altercation which caused the pain in his knee.

Diddy spent Christmas in prison where he is awaiting trial after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution. The rapper is expected to be locked up until his trial kicks off on May 5, 2025. As well as the criminal charges he is facing, Combs has been sued by several people who have brought civil actions claiming he subjected them to physical or sexual abuse, including his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie. Combs has strongly denied all allegations.

There had been reports Diddy had a "meltdown" over the festive season but a source close to the star told us: "He continues to stay strong and focused on his defence. Although he missed his family on Christmas Day, a holiday he traditionally spends with his kids."

In a statement via his legal team, they said Diddy cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. His team said: "Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."

At the Golden Globes last month, host Nikki Glaser came under fire for a "gross and horrible" Diddy joke.

During her opening set at the awards, Nikki said: "Since P Diddy has been arrested, the after party won’t be as good this year...no baby oil." Her comments were referencing the seizure of 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil from Diddy’s home in September, claimed by authorities to be supplies for the rapper’s alleged "freak off" parties. It was at those parties where Diddy allegedly "used force, threats of force and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts".
