Horror in Knockholt: Camera captured the shots that took Lisa Smith’s life

Gut-wrenching footage has emerged of the moment multiple gunshots were fired, ultimately killing a mum of two on Valentine’s Day.

The victim was identified by police as Lisa Smith, a mum who a source told the Sun had been in the pub with a female friend.

CCTV footage near the Three Horseshoes Pub in Knockholt, Kent, captured the sound of multiple gunshots before a woman screamed ‘He’s killed her!’

The gunman, believed to be known to Lisa, raced away from the inn and a car and gun were later found at the Queen Elizabeth II bridge which crosses the River Thames.

Lisa, 43, from Slough, was at the pub with a female friend before she was ambushed, succumbing to her injuries shortly after paramedics arrived on the scene.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

The CCTV footage was taken from a nearby shop. The shopowner told Metro that his employees shut the shop around 7.30 pm, but checked CCTV after the chaos and heard the gunshots on film.

Michelle Thomas runs the Three Horseshoes pub and says she heard two bangs, which she thought were fireworks before panic broke out. There was so much commotion – screaming, shouting, crying.

‘People were outside, on their phones. We tried to get people inside the pub to consolidate them. People were only just starting to sit down, it was early on in the evening,’ she told Sky.

The gunman raced away from the inn and a car and gun were later found at the Queen Elizabeth II bridge which crosses the River Thames.

Lifeboats are scouring the Thames as they believe the suspect may have entered the water and died.
