A beauty influencer and Trump supporter has made an unexpected bid for a Polish Premier League club, promising to ‘make it great again.’
Kinga Strogoff has been attempting to purchase the Polish football club Lechia Gdansk since October.
Despite winning the country’s second division last season, the club is dealing with financial troubles and is currently in 17th place in the top Ekstraklasa league.
Kinga has vowed to change the club’s prospects and make it the third-largest team in Poland.
Her company, Second Street Iron & Metal Co., Inc., has made several attempts to contact the club’s current owner, Paolo Urfer.
The Trump admirer, 43, who shared a photo of herself with the US president to her 2.1 million followers, said: ‘For me, there is nothing more important than building a lasting legacy, and Lechia Gdansk aligns with that vision very well.’
‘Poland is currently one of the fastest-growing economies in Europe, and the looming threat of Lechia Gdansk’s collapse truly breaks my heart.’
The beauty influencer promised to bring the club back to its Polish roots by ‘advocating for a strong core, values, and victory.’
Kinga stated that she first reached out to Urfer in October last year with an investment offer but did not receive a response.

She claimed that Lechia Gdansk’s owner was willing to negotiate in December but then changed his mind and decided not to sell the club before the summer.
Kinga added: ‘I have no idea what his current stance is now, but it appears that there is no plan to sell at the moment.’
Lechia Gdansk, founded on 7th August 1945, faced financial issues before in the 1990s.
The club fell to the sixth tier of Polish football in 2001 because of those issues but made an impressive comeback to the second division by 2005.
The club then re-established itself as a top team by winning the Polish Cup and Super Cup in 2019.
