My Chemical Romance’s Bob Bryar found dead with nitrous oxide canisters nearby

Former My Chemical Romance star Bob Bryar was found dead in November last year, with his body already deteriorating heavily when he was discovered

Drummer Bob Bryar was found dead next to a large supply of nitrous oxide, a medical examiner has revealed.

The former My Chemical Romance star was found dead aged 44 last November. His exact time of death is unknown after his body was already deteriorating heavily when he was found on November 26. He had last been seen alive on November 4. No foul play was immediately suspected.

Now, it has been revealed his body was found near three nitrous oxide canisters which were equipped with tubing. The autopsy report did not indicate if the substance played a part in his death, negating to indicate if there were either an intentional or unintentional overdose.

The Bedford County Medical Examiner in Tennessee said in the report obtained by TMZ that the rocker’s body was so badly decomposed that it was impossible to determine an exact cause of death. The official report noted it as "best classified as undetermined."

TMZ also reported at the time of his death that Animal Control visited Bryar’s residence to remove two dogs after his badly decomposed body was discovered.

Bryar was part of the My Chemical Romanc line up between 2004 and 2014. He first met the band while touring with The Used in 2004. He then officially replaced MCR’s original drummer Matt Pelissier shortly after the release of their 2004 album Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Bryer played the drums on the band’s huge album from 2006 titled The Black Parade and contributed to songwriting for their 2010 record Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

He later left the band to pursue a career in real estate. Despite the band planning a tour for this year, it’s thought Bryar had held no thoughts on reuniting with the band. He still holds the record as "the longest-tenured drummer in band history," after My Chemical Romance was formed on September 12, 2001, just a day after the devastating terrorist attacks of September 11.

Immediately after news of Bryar’s death broke, his old band issued a statement requesting space as they processed his death. "The band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing,” the band shared via the Rolling Stone magazine.

It was also previously revealed by the publication that the band attributes their formation to the events of 9/11. The publication previously reported: "Singer Gerard Way was working at Cartoon Network in New York City and experienced the aftermath firsthand, inspiring him to create something that could change the world for the better."
