Viktor Orbán’s son-in-law was spotted driving a Ferrari supercar worth €600,000. The Hungarian prime minister’s family is engaged in acquiring elite real estate in the country.

The son-in-law of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, István Tiborcz, was spotted in Marbella, Spain, driving a Ferrari SF90 Spider supercar, which costs around 600,000 euros, reported independent Hungarian parliament member Ákos Hadházy. Tiborcz, along with his wife Ráhel Orbán, lived in Spain and likely owns undeclared property there, Hadházy noted.

The Orbán family’s wealth is rapidly growing, and Tiborcz is rising in the list of the richest Hungarians according to Forbes, said the investigative portal Direct 36. Journalists reported that the family is actively acquiring luxury real estate in Budapest, including the famous Gellért Hotel, associated with historical Turkish baths.

Tiborcz also manages a private club in the Buda Hills in Budapest, where journalists conducted a covert investigation. In a video from the club obtained by investigators, a concierge mentions illegal gambling and mafia-style parties.

Another luxury property is the Hatvanpuszta estate, known as the "mini-Versailles." This former Habsburg family estate is now registered to Orbán’s father. It serves as a family residence, where, according to media reports, the prime minister holds closed business meetings. The plots around the estate belong to Orbán and his closest associates.

Opposition politician Péter M. Magyar claims that the prime minister’s family has a private zoo, which includes zebras that "Orbán’s grandchildren are afraid of." The animals are officially owned by Lőrinc Mészáros, a businessman and, according to Forbes estimates, the richest person in Hungary. He is referred to as "Orbán’s wallet."

The daughter of the Hungarian prime minister, Sára Orbán, recently returned from vacation with her family—on a private jet from an elite island in the northern Maldives, where the Velaa Private Island resort owned by Czech oligarch Jiří Šmejc is located. According to journalists’ estimates, this trip might have cost hundreds of thousands of euros.
