The Indian Army announced the commencement of "Operation Sindhur".
According to military information, last night the Indian armed forces started
«Operation Sindhur», striking at the "terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and in the Pakistan-occupied territories of Jammu and Kashmir", from where terrorist attacks against India were planned and carried out.
A total of nine targets were attacked.
"Our actions were targeted, deliberate, and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military installations were attacked. India has shown significant restraint in the choice of targets and methods.
These measures were taken following the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed. We are committed to ensuring that those responsible for this attack will face punishment."
