Ashley, 34, has now revealed he will make his West End Musical debut as Tin Man in Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of The Wizard of Oz.

He said on Instagram: "I’m honestly so excited about this one…

"Bringing my creations into a whole new world, working alongside some of the best on the planet including @jasonmanford as the Cowardly Lion and the absolute legend that is @andrewlloydwebber"

It comes after The Sun revealed he will also likely return as host of The Real Full Monty after two years away.

A fresh batch of brave souls are getting naked for a good cause and the TV star is likely to return as host of the sixth series of ITV's saucy stripping extravaganza.

As the name suggests it’s based on the 1997 movie, starring Robert Carlyle.

It chronicled the desperate a lengths a group of sacked steelworkers would go to to make money.

A TV insider said: “This show proved hugely popular with viewers because it raised a laugh while shining a spotlight on serious subjects.

“In previous years producers have tried to put a twist on the overall theme and this year is likely to be no exception.

“The celebrities, who’ve yet to be revealed, will face a nervous wait to find out if that twist is likely to add even more pressure.”

The new series is set to start filming and air later this year.

The Real Full Monty first aired in 2017 with just male stars taking part. The line up included McFly hunk Harry Judd, dancer Wayne Sleep and soap pin-up Matthew Wolfenden.

By series four a line-up of famous ladies were also taking part including soap actors Linda Lusardi, Hayley Tamaddon and presenter Coleen Nolan.

To make matters worse they had to strip off while ice skating.

Then in the last series in 2021, which featured Christine McGuinness and Love Island’s Demi Jones, it had developed a Strictly Come Dancing vibe.
