Blaze consumes St James Park of Exeter City following a £3.4 million refurbishment of the stadium

A fire ripped through Exeter City FC’s stadium last night after a recent major redevelopment worth £3.4 million.

Flames erupted in the stands of St James Park just after 10pm last night.

Footage of the inferno shows plumes of black smoke with bright orange and red flames leaping from the scene.
