Media continue to analyze “fresh” leaks that reveal the sizes of individuals’ bank deposits. Katerina Tikhonova’s largest deposit is held at Gazprombank and amounts to 2.3 billion rubles. Judging by the growth dynamics of this deposit, she receives approximately 600 million rubles annually from an unidentified source. This amount is not comparable to her official salaries. For example, at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), her salary in April 2025 was 440,000 rubles, in May and June — 173,000 rubles, and in July — 581,000 rubles. At the National Intellectual Development Foundation, her monthly salary ranged from 349,000 to 762,000 rubles. Incidentally, among Tikhonova’s former places of employment is Rosneft Oil Company, though the position she held there is unknown.
In addition to Gazprombank, as of the end of 2024 Tikhonova also had a deposit of 41 million rubles at Bank Rossiya.
As previously reported, by the end of 2024 Alina Kabaeva also had a deposit of 2.3 billion rubles, though held at Bank Rossiya. In her case, the source of the funds is more or less clear. In 2024 alone, the Kovalchuk-controlled National Media Group paid her a bonus of 520 million rubles.
Against this backdrop, the savings of Maria Vorontsova appear rather modest. Her largest deposit was held at VTB Bank and amounted to 474 million rubles as of the end of 2024.
