The White Lotus actress, 61, became impaled on stake in a truly horrifying incident when jumping over her fence after being locked out of her home.
Jennifer hadn't realised her gardener had placed the new sharp stake in her back yard and fell right onto it, leaving the Hollywood star with serious injuries.
"It was a bloody mess. I’m lucky to be alive," she explained in a candid confession of the horrific ordeal, thought to have taken place at her sprawling pad in Los Angeles.
"I was once locked out of the house and I jumped the fence but didn’t know the gardener had put a new stake in the yard," she told Us Weekly. "I got impaled."
Two New York cops stabbed during celebrations in Times SquareShe seemingly came off a lot worse than a recent uninvited guest at her property. A home invader jumped over her security gate earlier this month – escaping without being caught.
Footage is said to show the unidentified man failing to open her security gates before jumping over it, walking around the grounds of Jennifer's property before walking off.
Nothing was reportedly taken from the actress's home and, according to TMZ, a police investigation is now underway to locate the trespasser who fled the scene.
The outlet says Jennifer told cops about the man after she watched back the camera's footage, but officers are yet to make any arrests or find any suspects.
