EASTENDERS’ Danny Dyer says he has blown £140,000 on a holiday.
The 45-year-old actor took his family to the Maldives for Christmas after quitting as pub landlord Mick Carter.
Danny said: “It cost £140,000. Best holiday we’ve ever had. It was a reward for the last year, which was one of the busiest I’ve ever had.
“It was an horrific shooting schedule. The trip was a complete extravagance but then why do you earn money?”

“You’ve got to try and get in there early with your holiday, because otherwise they give you a holiday in February, and who wants to go on holiday in February?”
He also told The Times Magazine that six years ago he flew to South Africa for rehab to curb drink and drugs demons.
The star said: "I flew to Cape Town six years ago today. I was a lost soul.
There was “no crisp white bedlinen or any of that b***”, he said.
Instead he claimed he slept in a dorm and “scrubbed the khazis”.
