A COP did a blue light run to pick up his mates when they could not find a taxi after a night out.

Potts, 43, told the hearing he regretted using his police car as a taxi.
He said: “I have realised that everything done as a police officer should be honest and straightforward.”
Chief Supt Steve Rayland, head of professional standards, said: “We expect our officers to act with the utmost integrity, and in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Professional Behaviour.
"The actions of this officer in this case fell far short of the standards we expect.”
The final written warning will last three years.
