ZAYN Malik fans are convinced something is going on between him and Selena Gomez after he started following her on her Instagram.
The former One Direction singer, 30, only follows 18 people on the social media site so his decision to connect with the star has piqued a lot of interest.
And she followed him back just days later, which has led some to think romance could be on the cards.
Adding even further fuel to the fire, Zayn’s mum has also followed Selena.
Taking to Twitter to discuss it in their thousands, one person wrote: “Guys I have a theroy… what if zayn and selena are dating??”

A second said: “Does Zayn following Selena mean they’re dating?”
While a third added: “Imagine Zayn and Selena are dating hahaha.”
In the past, Selena was quizzed about if she would date Zayn and she said: “If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding.”
Others however think it is more likely they are collaborating together as they are both currently working on new albums.
Zayn is currently thought to be single following his split from Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a child.
He was previously in a long term relationship with Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.
Selena revealed she was single at the start of this year after being linked to The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart.
She was famously with Justin Bieber for many years before he married Hailey Bieber.
