LUCIE Donlan and fiance Luke Mabbott treated fans to the results of their cottage renovation - all done by Luke himself.
The 27 year old heating engineer, who got together with Lucie during lockdown, first found fame after appearing on the winter edition of Love Island in 2020 - a year after Lucie was on the same show.
Taking to social media to show off their hard work in renovating their cottage, Luke wrote: "You can take the man away from the trade but you can never take the trade out of the man."
In the video that accompanied his caption, fans saw the extent of the renovation as their bathroom had to be completely ripped out to start from scratch.
Luke and Lucie replaced their original white shower unit with a textured tiled shower and replaced their sink with one that resembled a sea shell.

By stripping everything back, Luke and Lucie showed fans that they even had to wipe off the old grout with hot water and soap.
Both Luke and Lucie donned overalls to undertake the task as they fitted in new appliances, fixtures and fittings.
The couple started dating in 2020 during lockdown and generated a connection via text messages.
And by the following year, Luke, who struggled to find love on the show with his ex Demi Jones, popped the question.
The pair shared their happy news with fans on Instagram as they posed for a picture with Lucie's engagement ring on show and the Northern Lights in full view in the distance.
In a shared post, the pair wrote: "Mrs Mabbott to be. The northern lights made an appearance for the perfect moment to pop the question. A night we will never forget."
And their celeb pals were quick to praise the couple. One person who was straight off the mark was Lucie's fellow Islander Maura Higgins.
Maura, who appeared on the same series of Love Island with Lucie wrote: "This is guna be the dreamiest wedding love you both"
