CAMERON Diaz’s new Hollywood blockbuster was plunged into further chaos after an unexploded World War Two bomb was found on set.
The production had been due to film two huge stunts, including a major explosion.
But the discovery led to filming being cancelled at East London’s Royal Docks — adding hundreds of thousands of pounds to the movie’s budget.
A source said: “The production expected the scene to go off with a bang — but nobody could have predicted it would all be derailed by a bomb.
“The stunt was booked to take place last month at the dock. A 24-metre barrier was being erected into the river, where the explosion would take place.

“But it was during the building of the set that they believed they found what they thought to be an unexploded bomb in the water.
“Safety was the main priority, so after speaking with the police and relevant authorities the whole thing was cancelled.
“Naturally, that part of the river is never normally disturbed, so it’s been left as it is.”
There is believed to be around 100,000 tons of unexploded ordnance in waters around the UK from World War One and Two.
London was the main target for Nazi bombers during the Blitz.
Our movie insider added: “The cancellation was a massive blow to the film, which has already experienced a few issues.
“After the two stunts were canned, they were filmed on green screen at Longcross Studios in Surrey.
“It cost a huge amount of money and was a massive headache for everyone involved.”
Cameron’s big comeback movie — Back in Action — has already been hit by issues concerning her co-star Jamie Foxx.
The Sun revealed last month how Jamie, 55, had fired four members of staff over production issues in a shocking rant on set.

At the time, insiders revealed the Oscar-winning actor had a meltdown over the way things were being run.
This is the first film Cameron, 50, has worked on since Annie in 2014, which also starred Jamie.
The pair also co-starred in Any Given Sunday in 1999.
Cameron announced she had retired from acting in 2018 to focus on family life with her musician husband, Benji Madden, 44, and their three-year-old daughter, Raddix.
But pal Jamie announced he had managed to bring Cameron on board last June.
In a phone chat, released online, she said: “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action. I can’t frickin wait. It’s gonna be a blast!”
