A teenager who died after a car smashed into a tree on Easter Sunday has been named by heartbroken friends who say they'll "miss him so much".

Felix Davies has been named locally as the 19-year-old who was pronounced dead at the scene of fatal collision on the A530 near Nantwich, Cheshire, at around 6.30pm.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Three other passengers, an 18-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were rushed to hospital.

Police said their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody for questioning.

Pals have paid tribute to the "top fella" and remembered Felix as someone who was always "laughing".

One wrote: Always gonna be missed bro you got taken way before your time , top top fella , rest easy."

Other said there was "never a dull moment with him" and that is was "always a laugh with Fe xxx"

Cheshire Police are now appealing for witnesses.

In a statement they said: "Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam footage or witnessed the collision to get in touch.

"Anyone with any information or video footage which may aid the investigation is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101, quoting IML 1520280."

"Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
