DIONA may look like your typical cat-girl waifu, but dig deeper into her skills and you’ll find a versatile support character.

She’s not a powerhouse when it comes to attacks, but she can store power with her impressive energy recharge.

This will help with other characters and allow them to use powerful elemental bursts more often.

Here’s everything you need to know about Diona in Genshin Impact.

As a supporting character, Diona’s HP and energy recharge are her most important stats.

These will maximise her shield’s value and allow you to heal the party more often.

Elegy for the End is the best weapon for Diona as it provides a lot of energy recharge.

It also adds an effect that triggers when Diona’s elemental burst hits opponents.

You also have to consider these two stats when considering Diona’s artifact set.

Two pieces of Tenacity of the Millelith will boost Diona’s maximum HP by 20%.

Add in two pieces of Emblem of Severed Fate to provide a 20% boost to her energy recharge as well.

If no one else is wearing it, a full set of Noblesse Oblige would also work for her.

You should choose the following stat distribution on Diona’s artifact set.

Best teams for Diona in Genshin Impact

Diona works best in Freeze teams, or teams that focus on physical damage.

Ayaka is the core of many solid Freeze teams, and Diona works well to create Cryo resonance.

This will help Ayaka with not only her damage output, but also will assist in charging her elemental burst.

When combined with Mona’s Hydro application, Ayaka’s attacks will leave enemies frozen.

As always, Kazuha groups enemies together and shreds their elemental resistances.

This is a physical composition where Diona fulfils a similar role as shielder, battery and healer.

Eula’s elemental burst helps to maximise her damage output, which is charged quickly by Diona.
