Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has hit back at fellow pundit Gabby Agbonlahor after recent comments from the ex-Aston Villa man.
Agbonlahor, who played more than 300 Premier League games for Villa and won three senior England caps, has targeted a number of current and former footballers in his role as a talkSPORT pundit. Even ex-Man Utd captain Roy Keane hasn't been safe from the 36-year-old's barbs, while Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been a regular target.
Neville and Keane discussed their fellow pundit during a live episode of The Overlap in Dublin. It didn't end there, though, with Agbonlahor quickly firing back and refusing to let the former Man Utd duo have the last word.
During the filming, Keane jokingly named Agbonlahor as his toughest opponent. If this was designed to get a reaction out of his former team-mate, who regularly ended up on the winning side when United played Villa, then it worked.
"He slags me off every week on that radio show," Neville said (via The Mail ). "They tag me on Twitter and it really f***s me off, honestly.
World Cup hero wants Man Utd move as doubts over Harry Maguire's future grow"He will be asked who was the player that you'd like to play against most and he'll go, "You know what? It was Gary Neville at Manchester United." You cheeky b*****d. You didn't win one against us in 25 years!"

Agbonlahor was in no mood to let Neville get away with his comments, though. "What he was slow I was quick easy day at the office," the former striker tweeted.
"Well that’s a massive nibble…" he added in an Instagram post. "Truth hurts gaaarrryyyy! Freedom of speech and all that."
The latest war of words comes after Agbonlahor questioned Keane's stance on England midfielder Declan Rice. The West Ham captain, who scored in Thursday's victory over Italy, faced questions from Keane over his full value amid reports of a transfer tug-of-war.
"I've watched him for England when he's maybe got more of a freer role to go more forward, but you watch him at West Ham, he's got to sit there," Agbonlahor told talkSPORT. "He's got [Tomas] Soucek who wants to get on the end of crosses, he hasn't got the licence to run forward.
"When he's at it, Declan Rice, he can run with the ball, he's got that long stride, he can score goals, [he is a] a great striker of the ball. I think sometimes some of these pundits like Roy Keane - who is a bitter guy, I had him [as assistant manager] at Aston Villa and he was a very bitter person - has something against him. He's what West Ham value him at."
