Teresa Hanson sits with members of her family for Christmas dinner, three days before her arrest on suspicion of murdering her husband.
The grandmother is charged with the death of Paul Hanlon, who was found with a stab wound at their home in West Cowick, East Yorkshire.
On Saturday she appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court where she spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth.
She spent her 54th birthday alone and behind bars after being remanded in custody.
But days before her arrest, pictures showed the family enjoying their Christmas dinners which had been cooked by the accused.

Another photo showed husband Paul also proudly wearing a green cracker hat as he sat with his elbows on the table, surrounded by loved ones.
During her court appearance on Saturday Hanson wore a grey tracksuit and addressed the court in a near whisper as family members watched from the public gallery.
As the hairdresser stood in the dock, her loved ones could be heard sobbing in the background.

A spokesman for Humberside Police said: “A woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Paul Hanson.
“Teresa Hanson, aged 53, of West Cowick has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court today (Saturday, December 31).

“The man was taken to hospital, but sadly he died shortly afterwards despite the efforts of emergency services.”
Neighbours described construction site boss Mr Hanson as a “doting dad and granddad” who always stopped for a chat.
