On May 24, 2024, the U.S. Sun revealed that Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi had secretly tied the knot in a romantic, low-key ceremony earlier that month.
Their parents, including Jake's rock star dad, were in attendance.
A source revealed that the couple is reportedly planning a larger ceremony later this year, but they are now legally married.
"It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows," said the source.
Bon Jovi had given the couple his blessing last year during an appearance on Radio Andy, calling Millie "wonderful" and saying his son was "very, very happy," as reported by People.
“I don't know if age matters,” the Bon Jovi frontman said, referring to the young couple.
“If you find the right partner and you grow together... my advice really is growing together is wise."
"I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all," he added.
Millie also previously revealed that she was enjoying the wedding planning process, telling Women's Wear Daily in August 2023 that she found the process "so fun."
"It’s such an exciting time in my life," she said, adding that she'd be keeping the process private.
“I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once,” she told WWD.
“And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.”
“So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest," she added.
