Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon, when they travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham.

Mikel Arteta's side are targeting a first Premier League title in 19 years. They suffered a setback last time out, as Liverpool held them to a 2-2 draw at Anfield. Yet Arsenal are still six points clear of champions Manchester City in second having played a game more.

Arteta will be without William Saliba for the West Ham clash, with the Frenchman nursing a back injury. Despite Saliba's absence, Arsenal fans will be confident of beating their London rivals. Here are the latest headlines from the Emirates ahead of that big game.

Arsenal sent title warning

West Ham midfielder Flynn Downes believes they are "due" a win against one of the Premier League's so-called 'Big Six'.

Downes said: "We are are due a result against a big team and I think it’s coming.

"We got a big win against Fulham the other day so it’s positives and we’ll take that into Sunday. Look at our team - our team is a good team. We don’t fear them, they are coming to our home, so we’re going to take them on and that’s it."

Klopp pays tribute to Arsenal

Jurgen Klopp has applauded Arsenal fans for respecting a minute's silence ahead of last Sunday's clash. Supporters at Anfield paid their respects to the 97 people who lost their lives as a result of the Hillsborough disaster, which unfolded in Sheffield 34 years ago.

Klopp was speaking to reporters ahead of Liverpool's game against Leeds on Monday. He said: "First and foremost, you're right it was probably the most respectful minute of silence I have ever witnessed, last week. There was absolutely no noise apart from a little baby, and that was absolutely fine. That you could hear the baby showed how silent it was."

Sczcesny reassures fans

Wojciech Szczesny has confirmed "there's no problem" after the goalkeeper completed an electrocardiogram (ECG) on Thursday night.

The former Arsenal stopper, 32, left the pitch in tears and holding his chest during the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final between Juventus and Sporting Lisbon. He completed a permanent move from Arsenal to Juventus in the summer of 2017.

Sczcesny went for an ECG, a test that checks the heart's rhythm and electrical activity, immediately after the worrying incident. Yet he's since confirmed: "I was worried, I was not able to breathe but now I feel good. The tests confirmed that there’s no problem."
