Sarah, famed for presenting a number of popular property based programmes, discovered she had the disease last year.

She today opened up on the "rollercoaster" few months and the "weird ride" in her breast cancer journey.

After praising the "amazing" NHS services for her treatment, Christine said: "Just a few days ago you were given the all clear.

"I know it's going to be there [in your head], and you're always going to be aware of your body, but to hear those words at this point is a beautiful thing."

Sarah, who appeared on-screen with two of her four sons Billy, 18, and Raffa, 14, agreed and replied: "Yes."

She went on: "It's good. It's weird. It's kind of like they [the doctors] go 'that's it then' and that's the end of that.

"And you go 'how do you know?' and they say 'well we don't we just think so.'

"It's a weird end - you feel like there's going to be a big moment."

Sarah added her medication would continue, saying: "I mean it's ongoing - I have to take drugs for the next 10 years and be very vigilant.

"But it's been a weird ride I wouldn't wish on anyone else."

Fans were delighted with the news calling it "fantastic" and saying: "She looks great."

One wrote on Twitter: "Watching @sarahbeeny & pleased you had good news & I shall be watching on Monday. Like you say nice to watch something nice on tv."

Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer in August last year after finding a lump which led to a biopsy.

At the time she shared that the cancer hadn't spread, and said she had "an 80 per cent chance of a cure".

The star said she was lucky it was spotted when it was, saying: " I feel very fortunate that I had the diagnosis that I did, and that I live in 2023 and that I'm the age that I am.

"There are so many things I'm fortunate for so I feel very blessed."

The mother-of-four shaved her hair after it began to fall out when she started chemotherapy last year.

The New Life In The Country star finished chemotherapy in February.

During her treatment, Sarah had issued an update from her hospital bed and showed off her brand new collection of 'tattoos'.

The 'tattoos' in question were a series of markings ahead of her latest procedure in hospital.

It was the mother-of-four's sons who joked about her new ink as they shared a photograph of their mum to social media.

Members of the indie band, The Entitled Sons, they wrote: "Mum finally got some tattoos!"

Sarah has also confirmed the return of her Channel 4 TV show - which was filmed before she was diagnosed.
