ONE of Stephen Lawrence’s suspected killers walks carefree near the scene — days before the 30th anniversary of the racist murder.
Luke Knight, 46, sauntered home from shopping in Eltham, South East London, less than two miles from where Stephen, 18, was stabbed on April 22, 1993.
An onlooker said: “He did not seem to have a care in the world.”
Roofer Knight, thought to live alone in a flat nearby, was arrested after five racists targeted Stephen at a bus stop but he was released due to a lack of forensic evidence.
Knight was also with the gang confronted by a furious crowd outside a public hearing in 1998.
