MOSTABSHIR (3.35) is fancied to enhance his 2,000 Guineas claims in the bet365 Craven Stakes at Newmarket on Thursday.

The John and Thady Gosden-trained colt looked a decent prospect when overcoming a wide draw to make an impressive winning debut over a mile at Kempton in November.

The son of Dark Angel may have most to fear from his half-brother Mysterious Night.

KERDOS (1.50) landed a Haydock maiden and Windsor minor event over this six-furlong trip last year and returned with a close second in a handicap at Lingfield last month. That should put him spot-on for the bet365 Handicap.

In the bet365 Wood Ditton Maiden Stakes, the well-bred NEW BUSINESS (2.25) appeals most.

The Andrew Balding-trained colt is a son of Derby and Arc hero Sea The Stars and half-sister to British Champions Fillies & Mares winner Seal Of Approval.

Former Ascot Champions Sprint winner CREATIVE FORCE (3.00, nap) is likely to make the most of a drop in class from the top-level to Group 3 in the 6f Connaught Access Flooring Abernant Stakes for the in-form Charlie Appleby and William Buick team.

Last time out, in November, he finished a creditable third in a Grade 1 at Keeneland, Kentucky, over an extended five furlongs.

At Cheltenham, the consistent SASHENKA (1.30, nb) is fancied to land the NAF Challenger Series Mares’ Hurdle Final.

He won a maiden hurdle last February on his final start for Michael Scudamore and has performed well on the Flat and over hurdles for his new yard, winning at Newbury last time.
