Nick Cannon has celebrated the cancellation of Jada Pinkett Smith 's Red Table Talk - and even branded it "toxic".

The 42-year-old father of 12, who was once married to Mariah Carey, has brutally hit out at the much-loved show.

He even blamed the Meta show for Will Smith slapping Chris Rock in his rant about Jada's series.

With the company pulling its Facebook Watch originals, which includes Jada's popular Red Table Talk, Nick seemed pleased about it while chatting on his radio show The Daily Cannon.

The Daily Cannon sees Nick joined by Mason Moussette, DJ Abby De La Rosa and Courtney Bee, with his three co-hosts in disagreement with the TV host and comedian when he dissed the Red Table Talk and branded the Facebook Watch original as the "toxic table".

When Nick was pressed by his co-hosts for why his reaction was positive, he quickly replied with: "If there was no Red Table Talk, then he wouldn't have slapped the s*** out of Chris Rock."

Nick went on to add: "That was royalty, Will and Jada. Then they brought it to the table.

"I don't want to know all this s*** about y'all."

The move comes as Meta rolls out a cost-cutting initiative that sees Facebook Watch shows brutally cancelled.

Meta's new initiative will see the show come to an abrupt end after five seasons, with the news announced on Wednesday, April 26.

Jada was emotional when she announced the news online in the week, apologising to fans and hinting at "finding a new home" for the series.

Taking to Instagram, Jada penned: "We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband."

"We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come. We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we'll see you soon."
