NEXT season, when Christopher Nkunku opens his Premier League account, expect to see his unique goal celebration.

The French forward, 25, who has agreed a deal to sign for Chelsea in the summer, made his first start for RB Leipzig in just under two months after returning from injury.

He didn't waste any time getting on the scoresheet - firing his side ahead against Hoffenheim in the 28th minute.

It was Nkunku's 18th goal of the season - an impressive tally considering he's missed 13 matches this campaign.

And it was followed by a goal celebration that comes from the heart.

Nkunku pulls out a red balloon hidden in his sock and blows it up.

The reason for this dedication is his two-year-old son, who he admitted loves balloons.

The ex-PSG star first pulled off the celebration against Shakhtar Donetsk in a Champions League tie back in November.

Quizzed about it after the 4-0 thrashing of the Ukrainians, he confirmed: "The ballon was for my son. He likes balloons."

Nkunku is set to join the Blues in the summer, after signing a pre-contract.

Although the deal is yet to be confirmed by Chelsea, it is believed he will cost over £50million.

Owner Todd Boehly has splashed over £600million on new talent at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Premier League side have struggled this season.

They currently sit in 12th spot, and it is highly unlikely they will be playing in Europe next season.
