A MAN who became a self-made millionaire after dropping out of an apprenticeship claimed people working nine-to-five were wasting their lives.

Cam Moar, 22, enjoys the high-life after he ditched his day job to create an e-commerce business, which has since taken off.

The South Australian man has since traded building sites for glamorous holidays, which he said anyone could achieve.

He originally started a carpentry apprenticeship but quit six months before he was due to finish.

Cam said he was sick of working "backbreaking" 12-hour shifts, five days a week for very little money.

Despite his parents' reservations, he abandoned his reliable career in 2020 and dreamt big in the e-commerce industry.

But the risk paid off in spades, with the 22-year-old now earning up to $250,000 (£130,717) per month and is worth $1million (£522,870).

He told the Daily Mail he was blown away when the money started rolling in.

He said: "Of course, there is risk involved because I was on my own and I think that's what scares a lot of people.

"They are mindlessly wasting their lives in my opinion.

"They are taught that all you do in life is go to school, then get a degree or a trade, buy a house and spend the rest of your life paying it off.

"I conformed to that mindset for a while but once I realised how much money I could earn working for myself, I was never going back."

The young Aussie now enjoys the life he always wanted and teaches people about the e-commerce industry through his firm, Six Figure Drop Shipper.

Since launching his brand in 2020, he has coached more than 2,500 people.

Cam said he had no intentions of stopping anytime soon because he wanted others to reach their full potential.

He said: "I want to open people's eyes to what's possible.

"I don't hate them for being sheep – I just want them to see what they could do with their lives instead of spending them working soul-destroying nine-to-fives."

Since becoming a millionaire, Came now lives in a luxury £630,000 three-bed beachfront house in Adelaide.

He also owns a BMW M5 and is regularly seen enjoying expensive getaways via his social media.

Aside from the high-life, the savvy entrepreneur admitted he was glad he took a chance on life.

He said: "I enjoyed woodworking, which is why I did carpentry.

"It was great to start with but quickly became dull and monotonous - like most jobs.

"Now every day is truly different and I am a master of my own destiny.

"It could crumble at any point and that is always that at the back of my mind but at the same time, I am living a dream life."

A pair of brothers also quit their manual labour jobs to focus on a side hustle, which now brings in more than £330,000 a year.

It comes after a barista revealed how she makes an extra £7,000 a month with her very unusual side hustle.
