NETFLIX's Selling Sunset is getting ready to return for a drama-filled sixth season in May 2023.
Fans of the show want to know what former reality TV star, Maya Vander, is up to these days.
Who is Maya Vander?
Maya Vander is a real estate agent and former star of the Netflix show, Selling Sunset.
She has lived in countries all around the world including, Israel, the Netherlands, Spain, and Singapore before moving to Los Angeles and now Miami.
The 39-year-old has been a part of the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles since February 2015, according to her LinkedIn, and still continues to keep her ties with the real estate brokerage, despite leaving the show in 2022.

Vander is a successful businesswoman who also works for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, and for more recently, for Compass in Miami and Los Angeles.
Why did Maya Vander leave Selling Sunset?
In December 2020, Vander decided to found The Maya Vander Group in order to be closer to her family in Miami.
It wasn't until June 2022, however, that she made the decision to officially leave Selling Sunset and focus on her business ventures on the east coast.
"I decided not to go on with the show and it was not an easy decision! Being part of such a successful hit is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for!!" she wrote via an Instagram story at the time.
“Losing a baby at 38 weeks following a miscarriage is just too much to handle,” Vander added. "I just want to be home with my husband and beautiful kids who I absolutely adore."
"Focusing on growing my Maya Vander Group and joining Compass is the right decision for me to move forward."
Vander was a part of Selling Sunset since its inception back in 2019 but decided that the travel between the West and East Coast was costing her too much time with her family.
Who is Maya’s husband?
Maya likes to keep her relationship with her husband seemingly private on social media, as she addresses him as “my husband” in her posts.
Friends and colleagues call him Dave, but it is unclear what his name is.
The two had a long-distance relationship prior to being married.

The pair live in Miami and share two children together.
How many children does Vander have?
While on Selling Sunset, Vander mentioned that she was struggling to get pregnant and had experienced previous miscarriages.
Nevertheless, she became pregnant during season 1 and gave birth to her first child and first son, Aiden, in February 2019.
Maya's baby boy made an appearance in season 2’s premiere episode.
In May 2020, Vander announced that she had given birth to her second child, a baby girl named Elle Madison.
In May 2023, it was revealed that Vander is 9 months pregnant with her third child after having experienced a late-term pregnancy loss in December 2021 and a miscarriage in June 2022.
"Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a stillbirth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I'll be part of the statistics," Vander wrote on Instagram in December.
"Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone."
"What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagine will happen to me," she added.
"Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I'll have to post about this and avoid the 'when is your due date 'question. You will always be in our heart baby Mason."
When does season 6 of Selling Sunset come out on Netflix?
Season 6 of Selling Sunset will premiere on Netflix on May 19, 2023, with all new 11 episodes.
Fans can expect major drama - despite Christine Quinn's exit from the show - as two new agents, Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young, arrive at the Oppenheim Group office.
