What is Ibis Styles London Heathrow like?

It’s so close to Heathrow, but has a bit of character unlike other airport hotels, so it’s a great choice if travelling with kids.

You'll spot fun artwork on the walls and many rooms are decorated to a quirky theme - my bedroom featured a huge astronaut mural and a giraffe peeking through a fake window in the bathroom.

What is there to do at Ibis Styles London Heathrow?

You'd probably only stay here if you've got a flight to catch - and conveniently there is a PCR testing on-site if your destination requires it.

But if you do have time to venture out, the hotel is just ten miles from Windsor, home to Legoland, Thorpe Park and Royal Ascot.

What is there to eat and drink at Ibis Styles London Heathrow?

There are many pubs and restaurants nearby, such as Carluccio’s and Steak & Lobster.

If you’re staying in, visit the on-site restaurant, Westcombe, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For my evening meal, I opted for a hearty meatball marinara and chocolate fudge cake, with a glass of wine.

The £13 hot buffet breakfast has everything you would expect from a full English as well as continental choices.
