A WOMAN has revealed her secret trick to making her filthy trainers look good as new again – and it only cost her £2.20.
The social media user thought her shoes were fit for the bin when they got covered in muck.
A woman shared a before and after image of her trainers - but everyone was talking about something elseHowever, after doing some research, she thought she’d try to clean them up and get them back to sparkling white.
So she purchased Dr Beckmann’s Glowhite in-wash sachets, which cost as little as £2.20 from shops including Wilko.
The hero product, which many count on to remove stains, is effective from 20 degrees and promises that “whites stay white”.
I’m a cleaning expert and here’s how to remove any stain from your party dressAnd it seems they delivered on that promise, as when the Facebook user revealed the after images, people couldn’t believe they were the same pair of sneakers.
The woman posted a before and after look on Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK.
In it, you could see the trainers before she’d washed them, and they were totally covered in a red, brown substance.
But after she’d used her trusty purchase, they were back to gleaming white – and she was thrilled with the outcome.
She wrote: “Thought my trainers were ruined forever.
“£2.20 later and they’re better than new, what a bargain!”
But while many members of the group were equally impressed with the results, others were left majorly distracted with something very specific about the first picture.
They asked what the lady had been up to, saying they looked like they’d been taken from a crime scene.
One person wrote: “What the hell is going on here!”
A second social media user added: “I don’t think you’re supposed to post evidence on Facebook, you’ll get caught.”

While another said: “Ok, great, now tell us where the body is.”
But the woman saw the funny side of the comments and later went back to amend her post.
She quipped: “Edit: For those who are interested, all I’m saying is no comment.”
