CHANNEL 5 has pulled three of its programmes from its catch up service as they say they're 'best watched live'.

The broadcaster has made the decision to stop uploading its current affairs offering to My5.

Fans of The Jeremy Vine Show will have to tune in to the programme live or won't be able to catch up on the episode.

It will also be the case for journalist Storm Huntley's brand new show which made its debut yesterday.

Similarly, Alexis Conran's midday show will only be able to be watched live.

The Sun understands 5 News bulletins with Dan Walker and Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije have met the same fate.

A spokesperson for the broadcaster said: "From the beginning of May 2023 onwards, The Jeremy Vine show (including Storm Huntley and Alexis Conran) will no longer be available on My5, Sky and Virgin Media via catch-up.

"The Jeremy Vine Show thrives in a live setting as the topicality, general news, views and opinions of the day are best enjoyed, debated and shared across social media platforms in the moment.

"Viewers will still be able to watch the show on My5 live through simulcast."

It comes after viewers praised Storm Huntley for new show but had complained they weren't able to catch up online.

Previously teasing her new show, the mum-of-one said: "I must share some very exciting news with you all.

"From next week, the conversation gets even bigger, right here on Channel 5. We're going to give you more time to have your say.

"Jeremy Vine will of course start your day at 9:15... at 11:15 - I'll still be here as usual discussing all the big topics of the day and taking your calls - but you might notice something a little different - the show is being called Storm Huntley."
