What allegations has Kesha made against Dr. Luke?
In 2014, Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexually abusing her, drugging her, and emotionally abusing her for years.
Dr. Luke denied all the claims and sued Kesha and her mother for breach of contract and defamation.
After filing the claims in 2014, Kesha sought to terminate her contract which ties her to Dr. Luke and Kemosabe Records.

The New York Supreme Court ruled against Kesha’s request to be released from her contract with Dr. Luke on February 19, 2016.
The decision was made due to various factors, including the fact that Kesha went on record in 2011 saying that Dr. Luke had never drugged or touched her during a deposition in a case against her former managers at DAS Communications.
She later claimed that she was offered freedom from the recording contract with the condition that she retract the rape and drug allegations and publicly apologized for lying.
According to posts Kesha made, she rejected the settlement and said the truth cannot be retracted. Dr. Luke denies a settlement was ever offered.
Two months later Kesha’s claims of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and gender violence were dismissed.
In August 2016, Kesha dropped her sexual abuse case in Los Angeles.
