A mum has shared essential life-saving advice to ensure that children are kept safe this summer while they enjoy the water.
Mum Dannah Eve shared the tip on popular video-streaming service TikTok, which has since been viewed more than 50,000 times to date
Posting under account @dannah_eve, the social media star shares 'daily safety tips' with her large following of over 600,000 people.
Captioning the viral video, the mum wrote: "PSA FOR ALL PARENTS."

"Odds are if they accidentally fall in the pool they will be fully dressed.
"And if god forbid nobody happens to see them right away, you want to make sure they know how to get to the side and they know how to swim fully clothed.
"If they're not old enough to fully swim then you can teach them how to float.
"Stay safe out there," she added.
Since sharing the post online, Dannah was inundated with responses as people rushed to thank her for the vital swimming tip.
One person wrote: "I am so glad this is a standard thing kids learn with swimming lessons here. I used to hate it as a kid, but it is so important."
Meanwhile, someone else said: "They teach that here when they get swimming lessons. They have to swim a few lanes fully dressed before they get their diploma. We also have baby."
