A WOMAN says she was left stunned after finding an angry note on her car despite being "considerate" when she parks up.

Lauren Ball found the fiery note on her windscreen after leaving her motor on a side road near her home in Denton, Greater Manchester.

She explained she can't park outside her property due to double yellow lines, so has to resort to leaving her car on other streets.

The motorist insists she is always mindful of other residents when leaving her vehicle, but she managed to irk one local on Thursday.

Lauren found a scrawled rant on her vehicle slamming her for stealing other people's spaces, Manchester Evening News reported.

The note read: "We are getting fed up of you thinking you can park where you want! You don't live on Becker Close at all.

"You live on the front, you don't park on here. You need to use your car park.

"You use other people's parking spaces when they need them."

Shocked Lauren shared the note on a local Facebook group, which received hundreds of responses.

She said: "I live on a main road with double yellows so unfortunately my only option is to park on side roads.

"What's frustrating is I'm always really considerate of other people.

"I found the quietest road around me, I don't park in anyone's space, in front of anyone's house or in anyone's way, I also pay my tax.

"The person has clearly been watching me, so if they had approached me instead of writing an anonymous note they would understand this."

The driver claimed several people have said they also received the same menacing note, while others were simply furious on her behalf.

One comment read: "Unbelievable!! You pay your car tax you can park where you want as long as you're not blocking anywhere."

Another added: "It’s amazing how many people don’t have the slightest clue about parking rights outside their homes."

It comes after a parking war broke out on a suburban street after a community vigilante left "sinister" notes on cars.

Residents in Bristol were left making signs of their own to stick in their windows proclaiming their innocence after the mysterious messages began to appear.

And this woman said she was left "shaken" after finding a threatening note on her car even though she parked in a "perfectly legal" spot.

The handwritten note demanded the driver "pay for a car park" instead of taking a "valuable" space outside their home.
