A COUPLE have shared how they nabbed an old caravan and made it into their new cosy home for just £300.
A growing number of people have decided to ditch their 'traditional' homes for life on the road - and of those joining the movement is Meg with her partner Ben, from the US.

In total, Meg guessed, they spent roughly £300 and this included the costs of new upholstery, curtains - and a lot of paint.
''I figured out that anybody can do this stuff. Like, if you've never sewn, if you've never done tiling or flooring, you can do this.
I'm a property expert - my guess for the cheapest time to buy a home this year''You watch a bunch of videos and usually it comes out great,'' Meg said in the video.
It's not just the relatively low expenses that are impressive - it took the DIY enthusiasts less than a month to complete the home transformation project.
Chuffed with the final outcome, Meg added that a lot of the current interior comes from their previous home - and even the colour scheme is a close match.
''That kind of cosy feel is what we were going for - and honestly, it's really made the difference.''
After turning the old caravan into a new home, the duo quit the corporate life and have since spent the time travelling across the Western America.
''We can just pull in, you know, these beautiful spots and our camper just sits there and just waits for us.
''We can just unhook it and still have our truck to go drive around,'' Ben chimed in.

''It's huge for us not to have to repack everything just to be able to leave our camp spot.
''It's not scary like I thought it would be - it makes all the turns right at the same angle as my truck,'' he added.
Inside Camilla's £850k 'guilty pleasure' country pad - and Charles 'hates' itDespite the small and limited space, the couple have even managed to fit in a working toilet, as well as a bath tub for Meg.
Meanwhile, Ben was also grateful for this opportunity - their new home has given him a chance to explore his native American ancestry.
''I'm just amazed at the things I'm discovering out here and experiencing.
''The 24/7 hustle culture that we're all socialised with, it runs deeper than just work.''
Looking back at their journey so far, Ben noted how difficult they both found it to simply relax.
The two had found themselves with what he described as a ''corporate hungover''.
''We would wake up some days and feel a little lost because we had no idea what to do.
''I didn't realise that so much of our worth is tied up into what we do and what we accomplish, not who we are.
''That's been something so meaningful to be out in nature and rediscover that.''
