It was a change of scene for Laura who on Wednesday was accosted by a lively fan asking if she was single as she fronted her segment live from Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice.

Laura took to her Instagram page to reveal her first Royal Ascot outfit, this being a chic floral print suit paired with a pink fascinator.

The mum-of-one then switched to a pink slim-fit dress with a frill hemline.

The gown featured a belt around the waist to draw attention to her figure and she finished off her look with a beige hat and pink pendant necklace.

Laura later switched to a floral dress for her third look.

Yesterday, the TV anchor had a completely different experience at Stonehenge.

She explained how the first sunrise had marked the official start of summer.

Laura told how, at that time, the spot was quiet with people practising meditation and yoga.

Yet things quickly changed during her live broadcast when she was approached by a man, later named as Mars, brandishing a sheet of foil.

Live scenes captured him telling Laura: "You said that you were cold from the night, this is recycled from the London Marathon."

Laura, taken aback, replied: "Thank you so much, that's really helpful and really kind of you."

He then flirted up a storm as he flattered her with praise, and said: "I know I really like your energy, you are such a pretty lady and I just wanted to be a part of the culture and to see a beauty.

"This energy, your entourage, the film crew it's like wow you have the power.

"You are very attractive."

The camera panned to host Susanna Reid in the GMB studio as she giggled away, before saying: "She's married!"

Remaining super-polite, Laura said: "That's so kind of you, thank you so much, I am married but that's very kind of you."

Looking shocked he added: "Thats very helpful to know - that was the very first question, 'Do you have a boyfriend?'"

Laura previously opened up on her "sex symbol" status to The Sun.

From skintight leather trousers, to miniskirts and figure-hugging dresses, Laura said she loves mixing up her wardrobe each morning and is unaware of the positive reaction from fans.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun about being a sex symbol, Laura laughed: "I'm definitely not sexy - I would like to think I look nice and presentable and smart.

"I don't think sexy would be a word I would use to describe myself.

"I don't think I'm a glam icon - but I feel I'm the girl next door... like 'she looks cute'."
