Amazon wants you to ditch Spotify and Apple Music. And its latest offer could finally be enough to convince you to make the switch. Ahead of its hotly-anticipated Prime Day sale, Amazon is giving away three months of its Spotify rival, Amazon Music Unlimited, for free.

Usually £10.99 per month, you can stream songs, albums, playlists and ad-free podcasts on Amazon Music Unlimited at no cost until October. That’s a saving of £32.97.

Cancel anytime during the three-month free trial and you won’t be charged (and then you can switch back to using Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, or TiDAL… with a little extra cash in your Current Account).

The blockbuster Music Unlimited offer is available to all Prime members ahead of Amazon’s annual bargain bonanza, dubbed Prime Day, which will take place July 11 - 12 this year. The sale sees discounts on the latest tech, beauty, and household products.

Amazon Music Unlimited is available on all of the usual platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Android, PC and Mac. Of course, Amazon also supports its own range of smart home gadgets, including the Echo Dot, Amazon Echo, and Fire TVs.

You may be wondering why it's chosen to slash the price of one of its most popular products but there's tactic, which all points to the future Prime Day event. Starting off with price, Amazons music Unlimited is £10.99 a month for non Prime members but those signed up to Prime can get it for £9.99.

Not only does this rack up a significant saving in the long run but being a Prime members is the only way shoppers will be able to access to 48-hour Prime Day sale, as could be guessed hence the name. Signing up gives customers access to lightning deals, discounted prices and a wave of early discounts which have already started to trickle in.
