Gunners to up Tchouameni offer
Arsenal are ready to table a fresh bid for Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni as Mikel Arteta continues his summer spending splurge.
Wenger breaks silence on Arsenal visit as he doubles down on title predictionAccording to Defensa Central, the Gunners are interested in a move for the Frenchman. The North London side reportedly lodged an initial offer of €80 million (£68.82 million) for him but would be willing to go up to €90 million (£77.42 million), including bonuses.
It is suggested that Tchouameni is not interested in a move and wants to stay at Real Madrid. The 23-year-old only arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu from Monaco last summer and made 50 appearances across his first season.
He still has five years left to serve on his contract in the Spanish capital.
Arsenal schedule Rice medical
Declan Rice is set to undergo his Arsenal medical ahead of his record-breaking move after cutting short his holiday. The West Ham and England midfielder is due to become the most expensive British footballer in history as he edges towards a £105m transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
Final details are being sorted out, including the structure of payments, before Rice will go through the formalities of the move. He will undergo a medical with the Gunners before finally putting pen to paper on what will be a long-term deal.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have scheduled for the medical to take place over the coming week.

Ozil ruins Guler swoop
Former Arsenal star Mesut Ozil appears to have poured cold water on the Gunners’ pursuit of Fenerbahce wonderkid Arda Guler. The Gunners have long been credited with an interest in the young midfielder.
They face competition from Barcelona, with the Spanish giants having already opened talks to seal a deal. However, if Ozil got his way, Guler would be staying exactly where he is.
According to reports in Spain, the German has urged the youngster to stay with Fenerbahce so that he does not stifle his development.
