THIS is the horrifying moment an alleged paedophile takes a suitcase containing an unconscious 12-year-old girl to his flat to rape her.

The suspect Daniel Moraes Bittar, 42, was arrested in the evening of the sick crime and squirmed in front of police as he confessed the victim was in his home.

Bittar allegedly kidnapped the girl as she headed to school in Luziania, Brazil at midday on June 28.

He then took her to his apartment in nearby Brasilia, where incriminating CCTV footage filmed him dragging a suitcase covered by a cloth.

Bittar then was caught on camera climbing two flights of stairs carrying the suitcase with the unconscious girl inside.

The police arrived at the flat hours later at 11.30pm.

The victim was found lying on a bed with her legs cuffed.

Bittar was arrested on the spot and sacked from his job as an IT technician at Banco de Brasilia the next day.

The police found stun guns, cameras, pornographic material, and a gallon of chloroform in his apartment.

Detectives also discovered that he had made posts condemning paedophilia on social media.

The police believe a 23-year-old woman named Gesielly Souza Vieira aided and abetted the alleged crime.

Detectives claim that she allegedly got out of a car near the girl's school, knocked her unconscious by holding a chloroform-soaked cloth over her face, and put the victim into the backseat.

According to the police, the pair had twice been spotted doing laps of the school ahead of the alleged crime.

The cops also revealed that children reported the kidnapping after witnessing the horrifying event.

In the police footage following the arrest, the cop can be heard asking Bittar: "Is the girl there in your house?"

After the suspect nods sheepishly and says "yes", the officer asks: "What is she doing in your house?"

Bittar starts giving an incoherent reply and the policeman cuts him off, asking: "Where did you take her? Why did you take her? What did you do to her?"

The visibly-nervous suspect then claims: "She's just there, I haven't done anything to her yet."

According to local media, he was then taken in for questioning.
