BBC Breakfast descended into chaos this morning when Carol Kirkwood found herself unexpectedly pulled to the floor.
The resident weather expert, 61, was dragged to the ground by a dog live on the show soon after completing her forecast.

Donning a bright blue coat, Carol had been chatting with hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent back in the newly-revamped studio.
Carol was joined for her report at the tennis tournament by a special furry friend named Ray.

However, the major blunder came as she got to the end of her segment.
As she handed back to Jon and Sally, Ray appeared to spot something in the distance.
The dog initially stood up as it looked into the camera but it then quickly bolted pulling poor Carol over as she clung to the lead.
Jon and Sally gasped in the studio as Carol was dragged on all fours before she disappeared from view.
Jon exclaimed: "Oh no," before Sally added: "Oh, Carol!"
As the camera turned to find Carol, Sally asked: "Is she ok?"
Clearly rattled, Carol could be seen falling over once again as she attempted to stand up.
The TV star then remained on the floor as she giggled away the embarrassment and insisted she was fine.
She then squealed: "I cannot believe that has happened again," referencing a similar incident on the programme two years earlier.

But after one particularly strong yank on the lead, she went flying forwards, with just her feet shown on the video link-up.
Host Dan Walker was heard roaring with laughter as just her white trainers were shown, saying: "We've got a Kirkwood down.
