Gamers and Barbie fans can all agree on one thing - life in plastic is fantastic. In that spirit, Xbox and Barbie have announced a brilliant new collaboration.
The joint effort to promote the new film came with both companies adding creative new merch to both of their lines. Microsoft has revealed a Barbie-themed Xbox Series S, Xbox Barbie dolls, and Barbie-themed cars for Forza Horizon 5.
You can expect a variety of new controller skins, all created on-theme to match Barbie and Ken's outfits worn in the movie.
Xbox also added Barbie's signature pink car - which in the movie is a classic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette - to the Forza Horizon 5 racing game. You can even catch a ride on Ken's custom designed 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup in the game.

On July 10th, Xbox fans will be able to enter a competition via social media platforms and the Microsoft Rewards program to win both the DreamHouse console and an amazing set of 10 Xbox-themed Barbie Dolls.
The last part of the collab release is one of Barbie's most diverse lines yet, featuring dolls of various ethnicities, body types, and abilities, all decked out in the latest Xbox gear.
Xbox is also hosting a very special live stream on the 14th of July, featuring a video showing real-life counterparts of Barbie dolls in gaming-related professions.
On the back of this announcement, Airbnb announced a real-life Barbie dream house that you can stay in, located in Malibu of course.
The Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, has so far, released two amazing trailers depicting the imaginative and incredibly pink world created by the fashion doll company that have absolutely stirred the fanbase.
The movie comes out July 21 in the U.S. and internationally on July 19.
