A CLEANING expert has revealed his simple method to remove stubborn stains from anything white and it’s much easier than you might think.
Taking to his social media account, Jeeves placed a small white cloth on a counter before spooning a little bit of curry sauce on it.
“This is a dry cleaner’s guide to removing curry, mustard and turmeric stains,” he told viewers.
Once he took the sauce off, there was a yellow stain left behind, giving him the opportunity to demonstrate how to remove it.
He shared: “To start, remove any physical bits and grab something to soak your garment in.

“Fill you basin with the hottest water you can and add about an eighth of a cup of powdered oxygen bleach, like Vanish or OxiClean.”
Another alternative to this, is to buy the oxygen bleach powder from Wilko, which retails for just £2 for 825 grams of OXI Plus Stain Remover.
Placing the cloth in the solution, he then picked it back up and informed viewers that the stain would, at this point, turn a dark orange or red colour.
He explained that this is nothing to get worried about as it’s simply the high Ph reaction occurring from the exposure to the solution.
“Let it sit for at least an hour, for best results soak it overnight,” he said. “Wash and inspect before drying.
“If the stain is still there, repeat the oxygen bleach process.”
TikTok user @jeeves_ny added that if you’re not in the mood to use the same process over again, you could instead spray it down with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide and let it air dry.
“For those still watching, you should know that there are four main stain groups: greasy, enzymatic, particulate, and oxidasable/bleachable.”
