A WOMAN has been charged with murder after the death of a baby boy who was just nine months old.
Cops were called to an address, in Hapton, Lancashire, on March 1 last year to reports the child had suffered a medical episode.

In March this year, the woman, 61, from Haslingden, and a 78-year-old man, from Burnley, were arrested on suspicion of assault.
After further enquires were carried out, the pair were then arrested on suspicion of murder.

Karen Foster, of no fixed address, will appear before Blackburn Magistrates’ Court today.
She is also charged with a separate assault on a one-year-old girl, in Hapton, on March 22, 2019.
Foster is not related to either of the two victims and the two children are not related to one another, say Lancashire Police.
