A MAN who let his fiancee romp with another couple to spice up their sex life has revealed how it seriously backfired.
Dan and his fiancee Katie checked into the sex retreat as part of Channel 4's Open House: The Great Sex Experiment.
The couple wanted to experience a polygamous relationship under the guidance of the show's intimacy expert, Dr Lori Beth.
Dan revealed how he had seen videos of Katie having sex with other men, and it left him curious to explore being part of a threesome.
Dan's sexual jealously gave Dr Lori the idea to get Katie to be in control, and say when Dan was allowed to join in by giving a signal.

Katie was excited for the task, saying: "I think it's still important to take Dr Lori's advice, maybe let me have a little bit more control of the situation and sort of explore a little bit before I invite Dan in."
The couple had drinks with two singletons - Josh and Holly - before inviting them to a yurt.
Dan said: "I've never seen Kate with both a female and a male at the same time, so I'm really excited but also I'm a little bit apprehensive.
"There has to be some sort of loss of control to have an edge and be more excited."
While Dan participated in a game of 'truth or dare' at the start, once Josh, Holly and Katie moved to the bed, Dan stayed on the sidelines watching.
But as the threesome continued, Katie failed to signal for Dan to join in, and the it ended without any participation from him.
Afterwards, Dan spoke about how the experiment had backfired, saying: "Some points tonight I did feel left out. Did I isolate myself? Did I feel isolated? I don't know.
"My head is just spinning with everything that's happened. I don't know what to feel, really."
Unsurprisingly, Katie had enjoyed the challenge and said it had "changed her as a person".
